The lower the temperature, the cooler it is. Shall I set the air conditioner to 16 degrees for you? ... Common summer pet-keeping traps: 60% of pet owners still fall into them!!
1.The risks of shaving hair
After shaving, a pet's skin is more likely to be bitten by mosquitoes. It has a low degree of blocking ultraviolet rays and is more likely to cause sunburn on the skin. Psychologically, it may make pets feel insecure and become "depressed", causing them to scratch frequently, which can easily lead to skin diseases, illness and other conditions.
2.Feed correctly
Pets' stomachs and intestines are relatively fragile. Cold drinks and overly cold food may irritate their stomachs and intestines, causing symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid feeding them raw and cold food as much as possible. Clean the food bowl and water bowl in time. If the pet shows symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, take it to the hospital for treatment immediately.
3.Use air conditioners reasonably
The temperature difference between indoors and outdoors should not exceed 5 to 8 degrees, and the indoor temperature should not be lower than 26℃. When the air conditioner is directed upwards, avoid cold air blowing directly on the pet's body. Try to avoid keeping pets on the same side of the air conditioner's wind direction. Because the cold wind will blow all over the pet's body from the front and back, it will cause greater harm. Ventilate every 2 to 3 hours. Without the convection of natural wind from the outside, the indoor air will become increasingly polluted, dry and have a decreased oxygen content, which can easily make pets tired and dehydrated. Avoid using air conditioners in the morning and evening. It is best not to keep the air conditioner on continuously for more than three hours during the day. It is recommended to turn off the air conditioner or set a timer to turn it off before going to bed. When entering a house, do not rush to turn on the air conditioner. If a pet suddenly moves from a hot environment into a cooler room, its respiratory organs, heat dissipation organs and skin will all be stimulated by the cold air, making it prone to catching a cold and having diarrhea. You should wait for 10 minutes before turning on the air conditioner.
4.First aid measures after heatstroke
Move the pet to a cool and well-ventilated place; 2. Keep the air circulating and replenish moisture (at room temperature is fine); 3. You can put the pet in a basin of water or wet its body. 4. Observe the pet's mental state and breathing condition. If there is no improvement, take it to the hospital for treatment in time.
5.Summer pet insect repellent mosquito
parasites in the summer to exploding. Owners must pay attention to regularly deworming and bathing their furry friends to prevent them from being bitten by mosquitoes, fleas and other insects and getting infected. Pet owners at home must also consider their pets' feelings and try not to use mosquito coils, mosquito repellent liquid and other sprays containing pyrethroid components or pungent odors. These components can cause poisoning reactions in pets, causing very serious harm or even death to them.
